Our team of Stylist/Barbers are experts in cutting children's hair. We're patient, fun and friendly with kids. We love cutting kids' hair, and it shows! We've designed our salon to be kid AND parent friendly! Kids enjoy our fun "car chairs," movies and toys. Moms and dads enjoy our comfortable waiting area, complete with complimentary coffee and a power station for your phones and electronic devices. (Don’t Forget we can cut mom and dads hair too!)

A $15 n0-show fee applies if we aren’t contacted before the system marks you as absent (8minutes after your appointment time).

How do you keep my child entertained? We’ve got all the magic: movies, lollipops, animal crackers, fun car chairs, and a treasure surprise after every haircut. You’re welcome to bring their favorite comfort item or snack too!
Where will my child sit? Most kiddos love our cool car chairs! But they can also sit in your lap or in a regular salon chair if they feel more comfortable.
My child may not cooperate…. help! No worries at all- seriously. Our stylists specialize in children and have seen everything. Nervous wiggles, tears, surprises- we’ve got your back and will work with you to get the job done gently.
Do you accommodate special needs? Absolutely! We welcome ALL children. Tell us anything your stylst should know in the note section when booking. For quieter times (great for sensory-sensitive kiddos), we recommend weekday mornings before 2pm. If your child has experienced haircut-related trauma or needs a calmer space , email us and we’ll help plan what works best
How long does a haircut take? Most haircuts take about 20 minutes or less, depending on the child and the style. (please book for EVERYTHING you may want to get done to allow enough time)
What is a First Haircut? Its a special keepsake service for first-timers! (usually first ever haircut) You’ll get a before/after picture and a lock of hair in a cute postcard to remember the moment forever.
Boys cut, girls cut, or Master Stylist- what’s the difference? All of our stylists are amazing! A Master Stylist has 10+ years of children’s haircut experience and consistently high reviews. They come with a small premium for their expertise. This is a tiered system that all of our stylist strive to get to!
I don’t know what style to choose- help! We LOVE inspo. Bring photos or tell us what you like, or don’t like, and your stylist will suggest the perfect cut for your kiddo and they hair type/texture
What happens after I book an appointment? You’ll get a text and email with your appointment details- that means you’re officially booked! Please arrive 1-2 minutes early so we can check you in. If anything changes on or end, we’ll contact you as early as we can.
Why can’t I find any available appointments? Our schedules open about a month or so at a time. (dates can be found at the top of this webpage) If the site shows no openings, it just means we’re fully booked or the stylist you want isn’t available yet. Keep checking- new times drop often!
I requested an appointment and it hasnt been approved yet? DONT WORRY!! If our system let you make an appointment for the day and time you requested and it sent you something, you have the appointment day and time booked. Please make sure to check when they confirm it due to space you may be scheduled a few minutes before or after your requested time to fill any gaps the stylist may have (this doesn’t usually happen). We have to manually accept ALL appointments for each individual stylist and sometimes there just isnt enough hours in the day lol.
Do we need an appointment? Appointments are suggested so you won’t have to wait but walk-ins are welcome! Just remember Appointments have priority! We fit our walk ins in between our appointments as we have time. An estimated walk in wait time can be given as soon as you arrive and check in. Most parents prefer to book their appointments in advance, but we also know life is hectic. That's why we also accommodate walk-ins. We take our last non request walk-ins 30 minutes prior to close. If you are wanting to walk-in and request a certain stylist, we ask that you arrive no later than 1 hour prior to scheduled closing time! (This time can be raised during busier times) Please visit our Facebook page for a how book an appointment correctly and any updates as we post daily!
Walk-In Policy- We accept on request Walk-ins everyday we are open up to 30 minutes prior to scheduled closing (This time can be raised during busier times). Tuesday-Friday last walk in accepted at 5:30. Saturday 3:00. During busy season like back to school and holidays we recommend reaching out before you arrive to double check we are still accepting walk-ins! If you would like to request a certain stylist as a walk-in, please try and arrive 1 hour before scheduled closing! Tuesday-Friday 5:00pm and Saturday 2:30pm.
What is the usual wait if we walk in? Wait times vary between weekdays and weekends. Short answer is you could be taken right away or your wait could be up to 20-30 minutes. Wait times can exceed this at busier times i.e. evenings, Saturdays, holidays, back 2 school and picture day. We have complimentary coffee, tea and water for you to enjoy while you wait. We also have coloring, toys and train tables for the kiddos while they wait as well!
What if we are running late?
Late appointment policy. We ask that if you are going to be running even a minute behind or need to cancel to please call and let us know ASAP. ALL LATE APPOINTMENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED A WALK IN!
If you are 8 minutes (less on Saturdays) late to your appointment and haven’t communicated us by either a phone call or email you will be considered as a no show. (BANG CUT apps will be marked on the 2 min mark) You will be considered a walk-in and have to wait for the next available stylist. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. The Kidtopia team wants everyone to have a great experience, and this allows us to have ample time to do so.
What happens if i get marked as a NO SHOW? Your account will be assessed a $15 fee and the card you booked your appointment with will be charged! Sorry but there are no exceptions!
Some kids get a case of the "wigglies" when they sit for a haircut. Our team of expert kids' hairdressers know how to handle wiggly kids! We're kind, patient, fun and have plenty of toys, movies and other tools to help your child feel more relaxed and at ease while having their haircut.

Cancellation policy: The Deposit is nonrefundable, but we can move your party to another available day and time if available.
